Brittany + Tripp | Omni Homestead Wedding Photography

This wedding was amazing from beginning to end!

Brittany and Tripp live in Texas but traveled up to the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs for their destination wedding ). What an amazing venue it was! Despite a rainy day, this resort was amazing! It was a perfect place for a wedding when everything had to be moved indoors.

I first had the pleasure of being introduced to Brittany and Tripp through a video she sent me in our first communication. It was the first time that a potential client had sent me an introduction in that way and I just LOVED it! I knew immediately that this was a special couple and I wanted to work with them. That became even more evident during our FaceTime meeting later that week. When we finally met up for their engagement session in Roanoke (check that out HERE) a couple of months later, all of my first impressions came true! They are as awesome a couple as I had suspected and I had a great time working with them!

The wedding day was even more fun that the engagement session had been. When we arrived Brittany was getting ready in a gorgeous suite surrounded by her beautiful and supportive bridesmaids. Her mother was there as well to help her and support her as she prepared for her big day. Brittany and the girls’ hair was styled by Leslie of Leslie Mitchell Salon. Their makeup was done by the talented Cameron B. Carson out of Roanoke. What talents! Flowers were provided by Mary of Country Garden Florist and were amazing! The table settings as well as the bouquets were to die for!

I loved so much of the day, but wanted to point out a few very special moments to share with you all. First, the girls had a prayer circle for Brittany and it was so special. I loved seeing her surrounded by so many hands and the love and support just blanketing her as she was about to begin her wedding day.

After the prayer circle and when Brittany was all ready, she and Tripp planned a private moment so they could pray together as they were about to begin the fun of the day. Since they did not want to see one another before their ceremony, they held hands around a corner in the suite where the girls got ready. It was a beautiful moment.

We took some time for portraits before the ceremony of Brittany, the girls, Tripp, and the guys (in separate locations, of course!). The Homestead offered so many amazing spots. I was constantly in love with the surroundings! A photographer’s dream!

There ceremony went off without a hitch! The light streamed in beautifully through the full window of walls and Brittany and Tripp exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends. The ceremony was absolutely wonderful and picturesque.

Cocktail hour followed while the couple snuck away for their portraits. We were able to sneak outside for a few shots before the rain picked up again. I cannot express enough how amazing this venue is!

The reception was awesome and absolutely perfect. Kellie Minter of Allure Weddings and Events had the entire day running like clockwork. Every single detail was handled with care and precision. I know that Brittany and Tripp appreciated all of her hard work. You wouldn’t believe how many perfect details there were! The food and desserts were all provided by The Omni Homestead and were simply amazing and I do mean A-MAZE-ING!!!

The wedding guests danced the night away with awesome music provided by DJ Steve Mueller of Black Tie Entertainment. DJ Steve never missed a beat! That party was on fire all night and all the way up to the sparkler exit! A great time was had by everyone, myself included!

Ok! Enough from me! Let’s see more photos!
