This was the event of the year! Wow! What a wedding!

Lauren and Greg were married this past Saturday at The Greenbrier. What a gorgeous location for a wedding. Lauren and Greg made it even more wonderful.

Lauren got ready at The Hawley House. It was a beautiful manor that was once referred to as “The President’s House” and has a long history. This home was just magnificent and the light came in beautifully to light Lauren and the girls as they prepared for the wedding day. Lauren and the girls’ hair and makeup were done by Melinda Cumbee of Charmarie Salon in Blacksburg. She was assisted by her beautiful and talented daughter, Courtney. The two of them did such a great job with the girls! Each one looked perfect! Greenbrier Wedding Photography by Skyryder!

Lauren looked so beautiful in her dress. She wore an Oleg Cassini that she found at David’s Bridal. Her awesome bouquet (and the rest of the amazing flowers) were done by Gillespie’s Flowers. The bridesmaids dresses were all purchased at Chantilly Lace Bridals in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The guys had a nice morning routine the day of the wedding! They started the day by playing golf at The Greenbrier’s Golf Course. That was followed by lunch at Slammin’ Sammy’s. After lunch they got dressed in the locker room and then headed to The Greenbrier’s main building for a toast! It was a great way to start their day! All of the guys’ attire were purchased from Jos. A. Bank and they looked sharp!

Once everyone was ready to go the amazing wedding planners whisked everyone over to the Presidential Suite for the first look. Maren White and Whitney Mills are absolutely amazing wedding coordinators and made this entire day run like clockwork. It was a pleasure to work with them both from the beginning of the day all the way to the end!

Greg’s face when he first saw Lauren was priceless. I loved his expression and his adoration of her. True love through and through. It made my heart smile :).

We took a little time before the ceremony for some portraits. I do believe The Greenbrier is just about the most perfect place to take portraits of such a perfect couple! The light and the colors… just wow!!!

The ceremony took place in The Greenbrier Chapel and it was breathtaking. Lauren and Greg’s friends and family filled the chapel and the love and support was felt by everyone. What a perfect moment for such a wonderful pair!

Lauren and Greg greeted their guests at the reception after the ceremony. The reception was held at Kate’s Mountain on The Greenbrier’s property. What a view! The amazing West Virginia mountains surrounded the site and it was breathtaking. Kate’s Mountain was decorated in style and filled with amazing treats for the guests. I loved the Stoneground Grits Station! What a neat idea! They also had oysters in the half shell, shrimp, crab, filet mignon, lobster mashed potatoes, salad, brussel sprouts, sweet potato casserole, cheese assortment and even more! Wow!

Once the reception kicked off the band kept the party going. I really do not believe there is a better band out there!
Soul Expressions was AWESOME!!! They really kept all of the guests dancing and enjoying themselves. Honestly, I had difficulty getting into the dance area because so many people were up and dancing! Wow! It was so much fun!

In true Blacksburg style, even the Hokie Bird and the VT Marching Band made an appearance!!! What a party!

Okay! Enough from me!! You have GOT TO SEE THESE PHOTOS!!!
