Amy + Matt | A Virginia Tech Engagement Session
Hi everyone!
Let’s all give it up for one of the happiest couples on the planet: Amy and Matt!
Amy told me all about how Matt and she actually met online! Amy had just moved to DC and went to a work holiday party where she spoke with a coworker who had me her husband online. When she went home she saw that eHarmony was having a free month-long trial. It seemed so perfect to her! Matt was her first and only online dating experience. Sounds like eHarmony does work magic!
She also filled me in on the proposal. Amy and Matt were having a romantic weekend in Annapolis. After a fancy dinner, Matt proposed in the hotel room and had champagne delivered. Of course, she said Y-E-S!
Their wedding date is set for September 10, 2016. They will be getting married at the beautiful Inn at Virginia Tech, and their reception will follow there as well. Amy is excited about that location because her stepfather just retired from the alumni center and their ceremony will e right outside from a room named after him! Amy is also happy to have her wedding in Blacksburg because this is where she grew up. She says she cannot wait to show all of their DC friends her hometown! She wants to take them to Carol Lee Donuts and go see the Cascades. Sounds perfect!
