Julianne & Adam | Radford Engagement Photography
We meet again, dear blog readers!
I recently photographed Julianne and Adam in downtown Radford and Bissett Park. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married on July 9, 2016. I am super lucky to be their wedding photographer! After spending time with them I just know it is going to be an awesome wedding! They are so much fun together!
When asked how they met, Julianne said, “We met at a friendly gathering of mutual friends at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!). Adam mentioned that he was a physics major, and from that moment I was intrigued (intelligent and attractive? How could I resist??). I went over and introduced myself and we started talking. We talked all that night till the sun came up. We were pretty much inseparable from that moment on. Three years later we moved to Virginia to start a new chapter of our lives together.”
I love that story! Can’t you just tell how adorable they are just from Julianne telling us how they met??
Adam told me all about how he proposed: “Julianne and I have always enjoyed the outdoors. Moving to Charlottesville was an exciting prospect with the close proximity of the mountains, something which is just a bit lacking in Oklahoma. We’ve spent many a Spring, Summer, and Fall afternoon hiking through Shenandoah National park, so it only seemed the natural, no the only place I could propose. I chose a hike called Rip Rap. It is long circuit off the Appalachian Trail with waterfalls and a number of breathtaking overlooks. After suspiciously guarding my pack during the walk up to the first overlook, I had Julianne walk to the edge so I could get a picture of her. Instead of a camera in my hands when she turned around, I had a little box. The rest is history.” — Oh my… that just melts my heart!
Julianne and Adam will be getting married at Keswick Vineyards which is one of their favorite wineries. It is an absolutely romantic and beautiful place and they can’t wait to celebrate there with friends and family!
I know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding!
Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Julianne and Adam’s engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one of my favorites yet!
Here’s to many, many happy years together!
