The Veit Girls! | Another Snow Day Mini Session!
I was very excited for this session! I have had the pleasure of photographing these ladies twice before and they are absolute sweethearts. I actually had the privilege of photographing Sophia when she was born! She is almost six now! I CANNOT believe how time has flown by!
These young ladies have such great personalities too. Delanie is 12 and is in the 7th grade. I can brag for a minute that I am SUPER lucky to have her in my math class. Not only that, but my first math class of the day so I get to start each day with that sweet smile! She is such a smartie too. I love it when girls are smart and beautiful and kind and awesome… or is it that being smart and kind is what makes them beautiful and awesome? I think it must work together somehow and Delanie is all of those things! Delanie loves math (COOL!) and photography (SUPER COOL!) and Jersey cows (not kidding… ha!). She is just one amazing kid.
Sophia is (almost) 6 and has the sweetest grinny-grin a photographer could hope for! She loved posing for photos and brought two vests to change it up a bit! She’s adorable. At (almost) six Sophia is really into being independent, wearing jewelry, and mermaids. (The mermaids part was my favorite.)
I asked them what they like to do for fun and this was their response: “We like to be active and healthy. Who are we kidding?!!! We are lazy, love movies, eating out, and baking more unhealthy food.” – Delanie
Ha! I told you Delanie was awesome!
I also asked mom (aka “Tammy”) if she had any words of wisdom when preparing for a family session. “You are in amazing hands with Corey. When she is taking your pictures you feel very natural and calm. We have had her take our pictures before and her perspective is absolutely amazing. She makes sure that every picture comes out beautiful. You can always tell a story behind her photos and see all the creativity that she has.” Awww!
Enough words! Check out more photos from our fun session!
