Oh my goodness! Look at this adorable, and very little, baby girl!
Stephanie and Jeremy welcomed their sweet little Kendall on August 19th. She was born at 9:56pm and came three weeks early! Surprise! She weighed in at 5 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18 inches long. Isn’t she just perfect??
“Active, motivated, and loving” are the words Stephanie and Jeremy use to describe their family. They certainly are! And according to Stephanie, “Kendall is very active – a lot like us! For months, Kendall spent her time kicking and somersaulting in the womb. Since arriving, she seems to be in constant motion and has the strongest little arms we have ever seen. She also makes the funniest little faces over and over again – such an expressive little girl!” She fits right in!
Stephanie told me about the day Kendall decided to make her debut. “Kendall was about 3 weeks early and was quite the surprise the day she was born. I was actually at the pool with my mom earlier in the day, and just started to feel uncomfortable. After being at home for a while, we decided to head to the hospital “just to be sure everything was okay”, and they very quickly told us we were having a baby that night! Labor moved along quickly – four hours from the time we got to the hospital little Kendall arrived! Everyone knows that I have a strict 10pm bedtime, and Kendall made her appearance at 9:56pm. I would do it all over again if I could! Jeremy was the best support person anyone could ask for. His attention, care, and love for me was there from start to finish.”
Jeremy and Stephanie decided that they wanted to keep the gender of their baby a surprise for everyone, themselves included. It was such a beautiful moment. Jeremy was the first to see little Kendall and he got to tell Stephanie they had a beautiful baby GIRL!
Stephanie first noticed Kendall’s little “butt chin” that she had been hoping she would inherit from Jeremy.I asked Stephanie to tell me about what went through her head the first moment she say her baby girl. She told me, “I had always heard how there is nothing like the love of a child, but I had no idea how special that love was until I held Kendall.” How wonderful that first moment is. So special to feel that love and the strength in that bond.
My time with this family was so wonderful. I enjoyed getting to know them all during our session. I even got to meet their furry babies, Eva, Jack, and Jill. Eva, the lab, is just about the best fur sibling a little girl could ask for. I loved this entire family!
