Gavin graduated!!!
Still catching up on my posts! Here is one that is very overdue!
Gavin recently graduated from Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Virginia. While in high school, Gavin enjoyed studying Spanish and history. He also loved participating in the Unified PE program.
Gavin played soccer for many, many years. He also played for BHS all through his high school career.
Now that Gavin is graduate he has moved on to the next chapter – college! Gavin is attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is loving it! Gavin is majoring in supply chain management in the Haslam College of Business.
In addition to the classes, Gavin has found another awesome way to get involved in the community he has found in Knoxville and bring in his love of soccer! Gavin is volunteering with One Knoxville SC. This is a national profession soccer league for athletes with intellectual disabilities. How awesome is that?!!
Gavin is clearly going to go far. He is such a great young man that is not only driven to succeed as an individual, but he has found a way to contribute to his community as well. The world needs more Gavins!
