Tess is a senior!!
What an amazing time I had getting to know this awesome young woman!
Tess is a senior at Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Virginia. She is a curious, authentic, and motivated senior that is ready to take on the world!
Math, statistics, physics, and yearbook are Tess’ favorite subjects at BHS. She also enjoys interning at LiteracyNRV, which is an educational nonprofit in our area. She is also a member of Our Future Is Science, a STEM-social justice program. How cool is that??!!
When Tess isn’t working on school related things she enjoys reading books, photography, binging TV, playing board games, doing crafts, and building with Legos. Her favorite bands are Djo, Taylor Swift, girl in red, and Chappell Roan. Favorite TV shows include Shitt’s Creek, Veronica Mars, and Stranger Things. She also told me that she enjoys the Lego botanical sets and playing board games like Wingspan and Catan!
Now that Tess is about to embark on her next adventure, she is looking forward to a move to Boston! Tess will be attending Tufts University and plans to major in Data Science. How amazing!
