Jess + Sam = Married! | Radford Wedding Photographer | Nesselrod

Jess and Sam are MARRIED!!!

We kicked off the second wedding of the season recently with two of the coolest people I have had the pleasure of meeting! These are the types of clients a photographer dreams of. The kind you hope to become friends with because they are so much fun!

I met up with Jess at Nesselrod’s main house to begin the day. Nesselrod on the New River in Radford is a magical location for a wedding. Jess looked amazing in her tea cup dress. It suited her style and personality perfectly! She had her hair and makeup done that morning at Unique Full Services Salon in Radford.

Sam was looking pretty stylish himself! He also go ready at Nesselrod and wore a suit from Men’s Warehouse in Roanoke.

I cannot go any further without mentioning the flowers. Oh… the FLOWERS…. Stonecrop Farms provided the flowers for the bouquets, the wedding, and the tables. They were exquisite. Stonecrop is a phenomenal place for any couple to get their arrangements and they never disappoint!

Their ceremony was held in the courtyard in front of the gazebo at Nesselrod. I love the way this location is flanked on each side by a line of trees. So beautiful to compliment such a wonderful moment.

After the ceremony the guests headed over to the pavilion for the reception. Dinner was provided by Nesselrod and was delicious. Guests enjoyed chicken, roast vegetables, sliders, and coleslaw. The wedding cake was made specially for Jess and Sam by Jess’ step-mother, Eriko. It was beautiful! Guests enjoyed the many donuts provided by Sweet & Savory Donuts and Bagels, Inc. in Radford. Yum Yum!!

Jess’ brother in law was in charge of the music and the playlist was awesome! I love his choices and the crowd did too!

The father of the bride, Edward, shared a sweet (and funny) story about how Jess had told her elementary teacher that she wanted to be an ice cream truck when she grew up. You read that right… she wanted to be the truck not the driver! Ha! After sharing that funny story he presented the guests with treats from.. you guessed it… a real ice cream truck! Everyone loved the surprise!

This was a wonderful celebration of two fantastic people. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with them and I hope I get to remain friends for years to come! These two are GREAT PEOPLE!!! Congratulations Jess and Sam!!
