Kaylee | Blacksburg High School Senior Photographer
I met Kaylee recently as she and her family were traveling through the area. Kaylee actually lives in Kansas and was visiting family in West Virginia for the summer. They learned about Skyryder through a friend (I love referrals! Thanks Joni!). We met at Hahn Gardens and then went to Smithfield Plantation. The weather was less than awesome. we actually had to pause for a huge thunderstorm! It was worth it though!
Kaylee attends Garden City High School in Garden City, Kansas. I asked Kaylee to describe herself and she said, “funny, outgoing, and driven.” I would agree after having spent just a few hours with her! She was awesome! I was especially impressed when she told me she already has an idea of what she’d like to study when she goes on to college after graduating! She told me she wants to go to either Kansas State University or Wichita State University and study Communication Sciences and Disorders. She said she liked working with children and hopes to be a speech pathologist one day. How awesome! I love being a Blacksburg high school senior photographer so I get to meet such awesome young people, even when they aren’t locals! That makes it even more exciting! Ha!
Kaylee’s favorite subjects to study are mathematics and psychology. She is involved in lots of extracurricular activities! She is a varsity cheerleader, in show choir, is a church worship leader and a kid’s church leader. Wow!
Some of Kaylee’s favorite things to do when she isn’t doing school related things is to be a member and sing in the church worship band as well as hanging out with her friends.
Kaylee’s favorite TV shows are Pretty Little Liars and Gilmore Girls. She enjoys listening to Christian music and loves leading worship for kid’s church. She told me she also really likes participating in her school’s show choir. What an awesome young lady!
