Leah is a senior!!!
I am so excited to share Leah’s session with you all!
Leah is one awesome young woman! She is a senior at Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Virginia. She describes herself as passionate, hardworking, and caring. There aren’t enough positive adjectives for this awesome kid.
Leah met up with me at Heritage Park in Blacksburg for her high school senior portrait session recently. I was so excited because it has been a while since I last saw Leah. I actually know her well because I had the pleasure of teaching her when she was a 7th grader at Blacksburg Middle School! She was in a super fun Algebra class that I taught! And yes, readers, Algebra IS super fun! I am even proud to tell you that math is still one of her favorite subjects! I will have to mention that she likes history too… but I am partial to the math ;)!!!
Leah is not only a stellar student, she is also an accomplished dancer! She dances at Dance Tech and with the Blacksburg Ballet. So awesome!
When Leah is not dancing or at school she enjoys reading and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite TV show is Brooklyn Nine-Nine and enjoys the Marvel and Harry Potter movies.
Leah is looking ahead to next year and is considering a few schools. Her top contenders right now are the University of Virginia (UVA), the University of North Carolina (UNC), and Virginia Tech. She is planning to major in sociology with a pre-law track. Wow! That’s just awesome!
