Morgan and Nick are married!
What an absolutely perfect day this was! I cannot express enough what a fun couple this was to work with! We had so much fun sharing in Morgan and Nick’s special day!
We met the bridal and groom’s parties at the Hotel Roanoke as they finished up getting ready. I love shooting at the Hotel Roanoke as there are so many gorgeous spots for classic photos! Morgan looked STUNNING!
Once everyone was dressed we headed to Fables and Feathers Winery for the ceremony. This was a gorgeous spot nestled in the mountains with spectacular views! Morgan and Nick exchanged vows in front of all of their family and friends.
After the ceremony we stayed back to capture some of the idyllic scenery for Morgan and Nick’s wedding portraits. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing location! Those views!!
Once we were done with photos and the cocktail hour ended, everyone headed to Morgan’s parents’ home on the gorgeous Smith Mountain Lake. They hosted the reception on their property that overlooked the beautiful water. Everyone enjoyed amazing food from Mission BBQ. Dessert was a variety of homemade cookies that were made by loving family and friends. Let me take a minute to tell you that these cookies were indeed fantastic! Once dinner was over the party got going! All of the guests enjoyed dancing all night. DJ Mark Landis got the party going! A great time was had by everyone!
Morgan switched into a second outfit for the party and it was epic! We snuck down to the dock for some photos with their sweet pup!
