I was seriously excited the day Nicole messaged me about being her wedding photographer! These two are the cutest!
I have known Nicole for a few years and she is genuinely one of the kindest and most generous people I know. I was so happy to meet Bryan and find out how much he adored Nicole. She deserved nothing less and these two are a perfect match! Nicole and Bryan were married at The Kyle House in Fincastle, Virginia. This was such a neat venue with so much character! I loved the feel you got in every room. Just gorgeous!
When I arrived Nicole and the girls were getting ready in the main house. The day was absolutely perfect and weather was a dream! Not too hot and not too cold! Nicole’s hair was done by Sol’s Hair Studio. Their team came out to get all of the ladies’ hair done! Nicole’s makeup was done by her good friend Emily Borg. Emily also live streamed the ceremony on Facebook so friends and family could watch the entire thing! What a great friend!
Nicole’s dress was from Celebration Bridal in Lynchburg, Virginia. She looked stunning. I loved how flattering the dress was and how she looked so elegant! She chose to accent the dress with pearl earrings! A perfect choice! Nicole’s flowers were all done by Caroline Larocca. They were just perfect and she even made sure to have lots of lavender around to accent Nicole’s lavender favors! She got them from Lavender Fields Farm. I just loved that idea! And it smelled so good!
The ceremony was held in the chapel at the Kyle House. It was lit with a wall of lights behind the couple and was in a quaint barn. How sweet! Nicole arrived by carriage with her father and entered looking so elegant! Bryan and Nicole left by carriage too! Such a fun way to recess from a wedding! The carriage even stayed afterwards to give rides to the guests!
Amanda Schaal with Schaal’s Catering and Events served up the amazing food. I do mean AMAZING too! That spread was delicious! They had two stations full of a variety of foods to satisfy every guest. Delicious!
The reception was kept hopping with the live band The Mulligans. They were so great! The guests loved them! So much dancing!!!
Nicole and Bryan did not choose to have a wedding cake and instead decided have Route 8 Donuts provide a variety of tasty donuts. Their display was amazing too! So many flavors to choose from! Bryan and Nicole shared a Nutella filled donut topped with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for their “cake cutting.” Not only was it adorable, but it looked pretty delicious too! I am tell you all, if you haven’t been to Route 8 Donuts in Riner yet YOU HAVE TO GO!!! Just be sure to bring me one of those Nutella donuts if you do! Ha!
Michelle Day with Day Events was the wedding planner that made this entire event go off without a hitch! She was so organized, helpful, and kind! I loved working with her the entire day! She made Nicole’s day absolutely perfect!
