Whitney and Susie are engaged!
I am so excited for these two! When I first met them at their wedding consult I knew it was going to be a blast working with them!
We met for their session at a friend of Whitney’s. They had a beautiful piece of property with a horse pasture. Whitney keeps her beautiful horse, Cleo. Of course we needed to include Cleo in their engagement photos!
Whitney and Susie are a sweet and fun couple. Whitney told me the story of how Susie proposed to her. A little backstory was needed to get the setup for the actual popping of the question: Susie and Whitney took a trip to New York City for a weekend. Whitney LOVES to go ice skating and really wanted to skate at the Rockefeller Center. Unfortunately the line was too long. While they were watching the ice skaters Susie jokingly proposed to Whitney with a ring pop by the Christmas tree and their “50,000 closest friends.” Fast forward a few days and they stopped in Susie’s hometown for a visit. They got to go ice skating with some of Susie’s best friends. It was that moment when Susie proposed in front of their actual friends. Whitney was completely surprised! She said, “yes!!!”
Susie and Whitney enjoy many things together. They like to work out, walk their dogs, Jason and Ender, as well as take care of Whitney’s horse, Cleo. The also enjoy floating the river and spending time with friends.
Now that they are engaged they are most excited for the upcoming wedding (June 26, 2021!) and have a big party with all of their friends. I cannot wait either!
