Abi is a JMU Graduate!
What an amazing young woman! Abi graduated from James Madison University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics and a minor in Biology. What an achievement!
During her time at JMU, Abi was involved in many activities and organizations. She helped with Relay for Life and was a member of SafeRides. SafeRides is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing drunk driving in the JMU and Harrisonburg community. She participated with that program for 5 semesters and was on the executive board her senior year. In addition, Abi was a member and Fundraising Chair for the JMU Dietetics Association.
That was enough for Abi! She also worked on campus as a Building Manager at Madison Union for three years and volunteered with JMU sports nutrition! That is one busy young lady!
Now that she is all done being a Duke (although she will tell you, “Go Dukes Forever!”) she is ready to begin working on her Master’s degree in Nutrition Counseling and Behavior Change at Virginia Tech. Her end goal is to become a Registered Dietician! She is well on her way! I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next! She is one awesome young woman!
