Anabel is a VT graduate!
I recently had the pleasure of meeting this VERY accomplished Virginia Tech graduate!
Anabel describes herself as hardworking, determined, and courageous. I have to say, after just knowing her for an hour, I’d have to agree!
At Virginia Tech Anabel studied Biology and Neuroscience. Her degree is in Experimental Neuroscience, to be specific. She said she loved her major and got to learn some pretty cool things and really found the entire program very interesting!
In addition to being such a scholar, Anabel plays for the Virginia Tech Volleyball Team. She played all four years while at VT. She loved it and is so grateful for her opportunity to play with Virginia Tech.
When Anabel isn’t playing volleyball or studying, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, going to sporting events, and watching TV and movies. She also enjoys working out on her own time. She specifically likes weight lifting and hopes to continue after she’s done at VT.
Anabel’s favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy, Virgin River, and Criminal Minds. She loves lots of different music but tends to lean towards rap and country. Her favorites are Morgan Wallen, Chase Matthews, and Lil Baby. She told me that music is pretty much always in the background of her life and always has something playing.
Next fall Anabel plans to go to graduate school. She’s not set on where just yet, but knows told me that she’d love to do a program that involves nutrition and exercise. She hopes to become a strength trainer for college athletics. She is considering a dietetics program or HNFE (human, nutrition, foods, and exercise) program. She hasn’t ruled out VT for grad school but is still deciding. No matter where she ends up, they will be lucky to have her!
