Welcome to the world little Finn!!!

What a beautiful little guy! I was so excited to meet him! I first went to the hospital just hours after Finn arrived. He was so precious!! Emily and Matt are two of the most relaxed first time parents I have ever met! They found humor in the nuances that come with those first few weeks and it was fun to hear how they were adjusting to the demands of being new parents. They are clearly going to be great at being parents to sweet little Finn!

Finn was born on August 14th at 7:49am. He weighed 9 pounds and 7 ounces! He was also 22 inches long! He was a big guy for such a small momma! He was full of adorableness!

Emily told me how it felt the first time she and Matt saw their little Finn. “We were immediately in love with Finn the second we saw him. I felt like a mother the moment he was born and they put him in my arms. It was like I knew him after carrying him for 9 months.” How perfect is that?

She went on to tell me that “every day is a new day with Finn. He grows and changes so quickly. We are tired but know that this time at home together goes so quickly.” Emily is soaking up every moment she has with him. They’ve already had a beach trip to begin the bonding!

Finn is such a cool little guy already. I loved hearing from Emily all about him! She told me, “Finn is a big, tall baby! He’s already outgrown his newborn clothes and is wearing three month size clothes. He likes to be held and be close to his mom and dad. He has four loving grandparents who, despite living hours away, have made trips to see him and love him more than anything!” What a lucky little man!
