Carly and Duston are married!
What a gorgeous wedding this was!
This was my first time shooting at the gorgeous Walker Creek Barn in Pearisburg, Virginia (https://walkercreekcabins.com/our-barn/). The majestic views cannot be topped. It was absolutely breathtaking!
The girls got ready in the loft of the barn. Carly looked so gorgeous in her dress. I love that Carly is true to herself and who she is at all times. Her wedding dress and her wedding day were true to that spirit! Carly’s bridesmaids were her sister, Dana, and her best friend, Ariel. They were so excited for Carly! Carly’s flowers were from THE BEST florist in the New River Valley, Stonecrop Farm (http://www.stonecropfarmers.com). They never cease to amaze!
Duston got ready in the room on the main floor of the barn. He was so excited to see Carly and get married. It was so sweet to see just how nervous and excited he was for the day!
The ceremony!
The ceremony was moved indoors due to the cool temperatures and winds that evening. That didn’t throw a hitch in anything though, as the barn and the views beyond were absolutely wonderful. Carly and Duston said their “I do’s” and became an official married couple!
After the ceremony we snuck off for some photographs around the property. There were so many gorgeous views that it was hard to stop! They even had an awesome pine tree forest that had a mystical feel to it! We loved it!
After photos we headed back to barn for the reception. The Palisades (https://www.thepalisadesrestaurant.com) catered with delicious food and the DJ kept the party going! Starshine Events (www.starshineevents.com) out of Blacksburg kept everyone dancing and having a blast! They also had a photo booth for favors and fun! The cake was made by Sheila and was delicious!!
We had such a great time! I couldn’t wait to share the photos!
