Charlsie describes herself as a sociable, passionate, and charismatic person. What a great bunch of characteristics to have!

I was so fortunate to have Charlsie in my advanced math class many  years ago. Charlsie was a smart and dedicated student even in 7th grade. Not much has changed! She is still a super hard working student and has her goals in mind for her future. This girl is going places for sure!

Charlsie attends Blacksburg High School and is activively involved in her Virginia DECA chapter. She currently serves a the Reporter and the DECA President! In addition, Charlsie is also President of the BHS National Technical Honor Society and a member of the National Honor Society. Her favorite subjects to study are marketing, government, and Spanish. In addition to her clubs and academics, Charlsie has a part-time job at a local clothing store, 310 Rosemont. She says that she “loves getting to work with one of her favorite things – clothes!”

When Charlsie isn’t busy with her many responsibilities, she enjoys hanging out with a big group of friends, shopping, going to concerts, traveling, and meeting new people. She describes her musical taste as “loving a little bit of everything!” but she does specify she tends to like her music “upbeat!” Her all time favorite movie is Mamma Mia and her favorite TV shows are Scandal, Jane the Virgin, and Riverdale.

Charlsie hasn’t made a final decision about her college yet but her top three choices are the University of Georgia, the University of South Carolina, and Clemson University. She plans to major in marketing or political science!

I bet you have realized by now that this is a young woman going places!!! Awesome!
