Claire is a senior!
“Fun-loving, optimistic, and easy going” are the words Claire uses to describe herself. Those are some awesome adjectives!
I had a great time getting to meet Claire and taking her high school senior portraits recently. We met at Wind Rock off of the Appalachian Trail which is near Mountain Lake Lodge (https://www.mtnlakelodge.com/)
Claire is a senior at Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Virginia. Her favorite subjects are chemistry, math and photography (ummm… AWESOME). She wanted to be sure to give a shout out to her photography teacher, Mr. Kaylor!
Claire told me that she spends the majority of her time playing volleyball. She plays for BHS and also for travel volleyball. Her travel team is the River Valley Juniors. Claire’s positions are setter and right-side. As a matter of fact, Claire is such a volleyball player that she has recently committed to play at the University of Mary Washington! How awesome is that??!!!
When Claire isn’t studying or playing volleyball she loves to hang out with her friends, watch movies, spend time outside and travel with her family. Her favorite TV shows to binge are crime shows and reality shows like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. She watches those two with her mom!
While Claire still has her senior year to navigate, she has made her plans to attend the University of Mary Washington next fall. She plans to study psychology and accounting. Of course, she will also be playing volleyball :).
