Meredith + Kenneth | Salem Wedding Photographer

Meredith and Kenneth are married!

What a wonderful day this was! Celebrating these two was the best!

The Preparations

I first arrived at the Airbnb in Salem, Virginia where the girls were getting ready.  Kara from the Chroma Salon and Boutique was there doing her magic with the girls. They all looked so beautiful and Meredith was stunning! Meredith and the girls’ dresses all came from David’s Bridal. Rhonda, Kenneth’s mother, made the bouquets and boutonnieres! Just gorgeous!

While the girls were at the Airbnb, the boys were getting ready at the church. They were all ready for the fun day ahead! Their attire came from a couple of different places. The jeans were from Boot Barn, their vests are from JoS. A. Banks and their shirts were from JCPENNEY. Don’t they look sharp??

The Ceremony

Both the ceremony and reception were at the Fellowship Community Church in Salem, Virginia. It was a perfect venue to host the great group of friends and family who came to support Kenneth and Meredith.

The ceremony was so sweet. Meredith and Kenneth read the vows they had written each other and it was so sweet! It was an absolutely beautiful moment to see how much they loved each other and how many friends and family were there to support them both.

The Portraits

After the ceremony we headed over to Roanoke College campus for the wedding party photos. That is such a gorgeous campus and we had a great time taking their photos!

The Reception

The reception was a blast too! There was dancing, toasts, and of course, great food from Wildwood Smokehouse! Mmmmmm!!! The cake and cupcakes were made by Jacki Bentley with The RailYard. So well done and the guests really enjoyed them!  There were also many treats for the guests to enjoy. They had some kettle corn while they waited for the couple to get back from photos and since Kenneth’s favorite treat is chocolate chip cookies, they had to have some! Jacki made a big batch for them to share at their wedding! Kenneth’s parents also made keychains with the couple’s initials as a favor! How sweet is that??!!! I love those special touches!

The night ended with a sparkler send off and they headed to Myrtle Beach for their honeymoon. What a great day this was!
