Emily and Jeremy are married!!!
Now this wedding was FUN!!!
I first had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Jeremy for their engagement session. We had a great time walking around Lane Stadium and Hahn Horticulture Gardens on the Virginia Tech Campus for that session! Their wedding day was held entirely at the Blacksburg Country Club in Blacksburg, Virginia. This is definitely the most beautiful spot in Southwest Virginia. The mountains cannot be beat! The BCC has the best staff too. They all worked so hard to make sure that Emily and Jeremy’s day was perfection. Maren headed the team and she is fantastic!
The wedding parties got ready at the main clubhouse. The girls all looked so beautiful. Emily gave each of them earrings as a gift for the special day.
The ceremony was held on the lawn near the banquet building where the reception was also held. The lawn overlooks the golf course and the views are breathtaking. I love how the light filters just right behind Emily and Jeremy as they said their vows! How magical!
After the ceremony Emily and Jeremy were carted off for a few minutes of alone time to appreciate the moment away from the crowd. The BCC staff had hors d’oeuvres overlooking the golf course and beside BCC’s iconic red barn. It was a beautiful spot for a quiet moment alone.
While the couple enjoyed some alone time the guests were treated to cocktail hour. Everyone enjoyed the views, hors d’oeuvres, and beverages. It was so fun!
After Emily and Jeremy finished their quiet time alone, we headed out to get some photographs on the gorgeous Blacksburg Country Club golf course. What a beautiful evening it was too!
After photos we headed back to the reception and the night got started! The delicious food was served and the dancing began. DJ Mark Taylor kept the night going with music and various wedding traditions like the shoe game and the anniversary dance. The night ended with fireworks courtesy of the Blacksburg Country Club and then a classic sparkler exit! What a night!
