My Favorite Photographs – Post Three | Blacksburg Wedding Photography

Hello again! I am back with the 3rd in my series of my favorite photos! I hope you realize how hard it is to choose favorites!! I have so many awesome clients!

The first one that I’d like to share today is from Jenny and Joe’s engagement session (see the full post here). How awesome is it that they wanted to hike up to a beautiful lookout at Mountain Lake?!!! I mean just LOOK AT IT!! I am a bit too adventurous and times and I do have to tell you that I had a little mishap on the edge and my lens cap went flying into the great below… that was a little scary. At least it was just a cap and not the camera or one of us! Ha! It was a great session though and the hike gave me a good opportunity to get to know these two before their wedding. I loved that chance because they are an awesome pair!

Jenny and Joe’s session was GORGEOUS!! I hope I have adventurous clients like this again soon!

The next one I’d like to share today is from Morgan & Nate’s engagement session (see the full post here). These two are about the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Just all around awesome human beings! We met at Nate’s family farmland in Floyd and it was such a gorgeous spot. We drove around and took many photographs at lots of different locations on the property but this one is probably my favorite. I just loved the trees and light :).

Morgan and Nate’s session was at his family’s farmland in Floyd. There were so many awesome backdrops!

Cory and Joe’s wedding details were probably the most awesome I have ever photographed! Sherri Box was their wedding planner (here is her site link: Events by Sherri) and she did an amazing job. The little details were all over the place and they were just perfect! Little books, teacups, clocks… just wow! And as if it was planned, a bunny actually ran through the ceremony as they were getting married! He must have been late for a very important date :).

Cory and Joe’s wedding details were simply amazing. Alice in Wonderland was the theme! Wow!!!

Julianne and Adam’s wedding was at one of the most gorgeous venues in Charlottesville, Virginia. Keswick Vineyards (see their link here). The grounds are amazing and the setup for weddings is as perfect as you can hope for. This photo was taken right as the sun was setting at the fountain in front of the manor house which overlooks the vineyard. I loved the sunspots and how awesome Julianne and Adam look with this backdrop. What a fun couple they were to work with!

The last of this post is from Sara and Luke’s wedding celebration in Florida (see the full post here). It was so fun to go down there and be a part of their family celebration. This was my favorite from that day because of the awesome couple (I mean seriously, how cute can a couple be?) and the awesome overgrown Florida foliage. I love it!

Sara and Luke’s wedding celebration was in Florida with the wild vegetation that is native to that area.
