What a fun session this was!!!!
I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed getting to know Fiona during her session. She has a dynamic personality that I absolutely adore! Fiona describes herself as “witty, creative, and strong-willed.” I think those are three valuable traits and will take her places for sure! I loved that Fiona is 100% herself without any hesitation. I admire that about her and cannot image a better attribute to have. How wonderful it would be if more people could have that confidence!
Fiona is a senior at Blacksburg High School and keeps herself super busy. Fiona told me all about her many activities: “I have been working at Eats Natural Foods for the past year and a half. Since the beginning of the school year I’ve been working at the VT Student Radio, WUVT 90.7 FM , and the student run gallery, the XYZ Gallery. I’m also the Graphic design president of the school’s chapter of SkillsUSA, the two year historian of the National Art Honors Society, the three year president of the yoga club, and the VP of the media club. I cheered for two years on the varsity cheer team, and one year on the JV team.” Wow!
Fiona loves studying graphic design and she is currently talking two periods of it at BHS. Other than graphics and art, Fiona enjoys English, History, and AP Environmental Science.
When she’s not working or studying, Fiona enjoys hanging out with her friends, listening to music, going to concerts, art, and traveling. Her favorite band is Cage The Elephant, who she’s seen twice already in concert! She loves (and has also seen live twice) Harry Styles. Peach Pit, They Might Be Giants, Hippo Campus, Foster the People (seen live!), The Chats, The Maine, The Strokes, and The Curious Incident. Yeah, I think you could say she loves music! Fiona also likes the TV shows American Horror Story, Daredevil, and Gossip Girl. Her favorite movie is Clueless.
Fiona has not decided yet on her college for next year but she does know that she will be majoring in either graphic design or communications/marketing. I have no doubt that this girl is going places!
