What a fun group this was to photograph!
I first had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy and Stephanie after their adorable little girl, Kendall, was born. I cannot believe that was over two years ago!!
Kendall has grown into a fun, happy, and adventurous little lady. She is confident, adorable, and a little hilarious! I loved the joy that she brought the session. It’s not hard to be so happy with so many loving family members!
Jeremy and Stephanie brought their family along for this session. Mona and Tommy are Jeremy’s parents. They are lovingly known as “Moona” and “Pops.” So sweet!
George and Carole are Stephanie’s parents. They are also known as “Pap pap” and “Gigi.” I love it!!
Also along for the session was Stephanie’s brother, Geoff. He goes by “Duffy” and is adored by his little niece!
Stephanie describes her family as “loving, adventurous, and full of laughter.” This is no exaggeration. They were so sweet to work with. It is awesome to see a family that loves and enjoys each other so much. No wonder little Kendall is such a happy girl!
Jeremy, Kendall, and Stephanie enjoy spending time outside and exposing Kendall to a variety of outdoor activities. Stephanie told me, “In our free time, we like to hike, camp, bike, and travel. We’ve been trying to share some of these activities with our family when we spend time together.”
They have many things they love to do together. Stephanie told me all about it! “When we all get together, you can find us spending the day chasing Kendall and enjoying her giggles. We usually get to enjoy a great meal where Jeremy, the resident meat smoker, and George, the resident chef, put together a lovely meal for us to enjoy.”
We did their session at Heritage Park in Blacksburg, Virginia. Jeremy and Stephanie took their maternity photos here so bringing Kendall back to this location was a neat experience. Stephanie said, “it was nice to bring it back with Kendall on the other side!
I asked Stephanie to describe each person to me and she shared the following: “Jeremy is our fearless leader, who is always encouraging Kendall to have a sense of adventure.”
“Kendall is the always giggling energizer bunny!”
“Mona, Tommy, George , and Carole are loving and involved grandparents. George and Carole watch Kendall daily, and Mona and Tommy make frequent visits to see Kendall.”
“Geoff is the funny uncle!”
Jeremy added in to describe Stephanie: “I can’t describe her in just one sentence! Stephanie is a devoted mother, who loves to watch Kendall explore and have fun. And her family obviously adores her!”
