Erika is a senior!!!
Time really flies! Erika is already a senior at Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Virginia. Just yesterday she was a little seventh grader in my advanced math class!! How did time go by so quickly??
Erika describes herself as “independent, hard working, and optimistic.” Those are wonderful traits and she definitely are all of those things. I would add in caring as well. She has a heart of gold!
Erika’s favorite subject to study at BHS is medicine. In addition to her studies, Erika is involved in cow showing and has a part time job as a server at The Farmhouse in Christiansburg, Virginia.
When she’s not working or studying, Erika loves to travel and watch college football. Her favorite teams are the University of Florida Gators and the Virginia Tech Hokies. She can be found cheering them on! It’s a good thing they haven’t played each other!
Erika also loves to visit Florida and go to Disney World. She’s been there “a lot!” When she’s not traveling her favorite place to visit is her cows!
Erika and Julianne have been best friends for many, many years. It was only appropriate that their senior portrait sessions happened together! You can see more from that day by checking out Julianne’s session on the blog too!
Now that Erika is looking ahead to next year, she is considering attending Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree where she plans to study biology. After VT she plans to head to the University of Florida to attend their dental school! What great goals!
