I had an absolutely wonderful time with the Jennifer Rhue and her family recently at the Virginia Tech Duckpond.
Jennifer found me through a friend of hers (I love referrals!) and wanted to schedule a session for her father, Bill’s 75th birthday! What an awesome gift for them to give their dad! So sweet!
Jennifer and her sister, Cindy, both live a good distance from their dad so bringing their families together for this occasion was something special indeed! I was so happy that I got to be a part of their time together. It was really great getting to know each of them as we walked around the beautiful Virginia Tech Duckpond. Being a Blacksburg family photographer is one of the best jobs a person can have! I get to meet such awesome people!
Jennifer and her husband, Chris, have an adorable daughter named Vivienne. Vivienne was 6 (very soon to be 7!) year old. She was the sweetest! It was great getting to chat with her a bit during the session. I loved hearing about the things that are awesome about being a six year old!
Cindy and her husband, Greg, have two boys: Brady and Carter. Brady is 16 and was such a gentleman. He was so polite and sweet to his family. I love seeing a teenager that nice! Makes my heart smile! Carter, the 12 year old, was just as kind as his big brother. I enjoyed talking with him about what he enjoyed in middle school. Both boys live with their parents in North Carolina so they told me a bit about their school life down there. Great kids!
Bill (a.k.a. “birthday boy!”) and his sweet wife, Andi, were also fun to work with. Bill is a very interesting person and has lived in this area for many years! Andi’s son, Josh, joined us too!
In addition to Bill and all of his kids, Bill’s brother Jack joined us with his sweet wife, Dana. They were up visiting from Nashville to celebrate Bill’s birthday. Dana told me a little about how much fun Nashville is. I cannot wait to go for a visit now! They have lived in the area for a long time and told me a bit about how awesome it is!
This family was just one more reason why I love being a Blacksburg family photographer. Blacksburg has so many awesome people. Even the ones that grow up and move away will still come home to visit! Okay! Enough from me. More photos!
