Jessica and Stephen are engaged! We met on the Blue Ridge Parkway for their session and it was MAGNIFICENT!!
I was so excited to hear from Jessica about her engagement session! I just love Jessica and her family! I first had the pleasure of meeting her when I photographed her sister’s wedding. It has been many years now and I have only learned that I like them more and more!
Stephen seems like a super sweet guy and it is clear just how much he adores Jessica! Jessica told me that she and Stephen began their journey together not so long ago. She told me that from the beginning she knew that “God had put a great man in her life.” Jessica went on to say that Stephen “has brought me so much closer to the Lord and introduced me to his wonderful church family, whom I couldn’t love more. Stephen and I both feel very blessed and are so excited to begin this wonderful journey together. We are so excited to see what God has in store for our future as husband and wife.”
Stephen was so awesome with how he popped the question to Jessica! He surprised her at Claytor Lake while they were on top of a boat dock watching the sunset. It was a magical and equally beautiful moment!
I asked each of them to describe the other and this is what they shared. It was so cute!:
Stephen said “Jessica has a huge heart and puts others needs before before her own. Her love is so incredible and continues to surprise me daily.”
Jessica said “Stephen is very hard working and shows so much love to everyone. He continues daily to put the Lord first and does so well providing for our family.”

Both Jessica and Stephen have pretty busy work schedules that don’t seem to match up very much either! Since time together is at a premium, they consider it very special. They enjoy going to dinner, being around family and friends, and “most importantly, putting the Lord first.”
Now that they are engaged they are super excited for their upcoming wedding. February 10th is the big day! They are so excited to spend the day with their wonderful and supportive family and friends. They plan for the wedding at their church in Christiansburg and the reception to follow at Mountain Lake Lodge.
