What fun this couple is!!!

I first met John and Chrissy over five years ago. We met to discuss Chrissy and John’s wedding photography and then they hired me! We had one of the most beautiful engagement sessions on Virginia Tech’s campus that I have ever done. The fall colors were amazing that year and it just offered the most beautiful backdrop to one of the sweetest couples I have had the honor of working with. Chrissy and John followed that with a gorgeous wedding at the War Memorial Chapel on June 8, 2013. Their reception was held at Smithfield Plantation and was full of wonderful family and friends to celebrate their love. I have kept up with Chrissy via Facebook of the past five years and have enjoyed seeing how very happy she and John are together. They have such a loving and supportive relationship. It really makes my heart smile!

Chrissy and John have many things that they enjoy doing together. They are big Virginia Tech football fans (Go Hokies!!) and enjoy spending time with their dog, Harper. Chrissy told me that one of her favorite reasons they enjoy being married to one another is because they “laugh a lot!” Who could ask for anything more?

Chrissy’s mother and father came along for some photos too! It was great to see them again and reminisce about the last time we saw each other, Chrissy and John’s wedding!

I had a great time getting to see Chrissy and John again, despite the rain that ended our session! We did get some time to catch up as we waited for the rain to ease up a bit! That was fun!
