I was SUPER excited when Katie booked her engagement session with me! I adore Katie!! We go way back. She was actually my first senior session ever in the New River Valley! I have always enjoyed her (and her awesome family)!
Katie and Adam are the sweetest couple. They met in downtown Blacksburg and she said the “rest was history.” They have been inseparable ever since!
Adam popped the question after having shopped for months for a ring. He said the day he picked it up from the jeweler his palms were sweaty and he wanted to give it to her right away! He planned to do it that night during her birthday dinner! Katie told me that she could tell he was acting strange during dinner. They went home and as they walked in the house he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Of course she said
“YES!”
They love to do many things together. Traveling is their most favorite. They went to Europe on a three week trip last year and they told me it was a “trip of a lifetime!” They also like to go to breweries and cook together.
Now that they are engaged they are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together. Katie said “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Adam. He makes me so happy and I feel like I can be myself around him. He’s my best friend!” Could you want anything else?? How perfect!
Adam describes Katie as having the most caring and loving heart. He also said Katie’s eyes are his favorite feature of hers. “Katie’s eyes were the first think I noticed when I met her.” He also pointed out that he loves her back rubs ;).
Katie adores many things about Adam as well. She told me, “Adam is easily the most grounded person I’ve ever met. He knows how to make me laugh and keep me happy. He is so selfless and friendly to everyone. It’s hard to keep up with all his friends!”
