What a wonderful day to be outdoors doing a college graduation photo session! Meghan did it! She has finished her time at Virginia Tech and is graduating!!
Meghan describes herself as, “outgoing, enthusiastic, and optimistic.” Those are three words that indicate success! If she keeps those traits there will be no stopping Meghan!
During her days at VT, Meghan was very involved in lots of activities and organizations as well as keeping up with her classwork. Most notably, Meghan was in a service organization called Alpha Phi Omega. They host and attend service events and give back to Virginia Tech, the local community, as well as the nation as a whole. How awesome is that? In addition to that organization, Meghan works for TLOS which is an IT department at Virginia Tech. There she works as a teacher for professors and other faculty members who would like to learn how to use Canvas.
College Life
Meghan’s major while at Virginia Tech was Agribusiness with a specialization in Horticulture. This is why it was so special that we end Meghan’s session at the Hahn Horticulture Garden. Not only is it a gorgeous spot for photos, but it’s where Meghan spent many of her days learning about plants! It was cool to hear her tell me the names of various plants as we walked around!
When Meghan isn’t working towards her degree at VT, she loves to just have fun! She enjoys going to VT football games and hanging out with friends. She also spends a lot of time doing service in the area through her service organization.
Meghan loves music. She told me she “loveshearing any kind of new music and attending Floyd Fest every year.” As for television, she said, “I’m obsessed with Game of Thrones but Friends will always have a small place in my heart.” TV and music isn’t her only passion, she went on to say, “I love to read and am always looking for a good book!”
Now that Meghan is done with her Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness, she is headed to Greensboro, North Carolina to work at a nursery. She’s quick to put her degree to work! Way to go Meghan!
