Lucy | Blacksburg High School Senior Photographer

Lucy describes herself as “honest and hard working.” Those are definitely two of her traits, but she is so much more. Lucy is intelligent, loyal, and kind. Her friends value her friendship and feel lucky to have it.

Lucy is a senior at Blacksburg High School and loves to study psychology, political science, history,  and current events. She has more than one school she is looking at for her next level of education. Lucy’s top choices in universities are NYU, UVA, and Cornell. She told me she would “love to major in something like finance, and maybe minor in marketing or hospitality and tourism.” I am pretty sure she will have her pick of all of them!

Besides her studies, Lucy is involved in a variety of other activities at Blacksburg High School and in the community. Lucy told me, “I do a lot of community service on my own. I’m also extremely involved in my school’s chapter of FCCLA (family career and community leaders of America). I’ve been involved as a member and officer for four years, and I’ve found a lot passions of mine through competing in various categories through the organization such as environmental protection and mental health education.” That is pretty cool!

Lucy shared her session with her close friend, Dory. I loved having their sessions together and enjoyed getting to know them! Having a friend with you makes a session even more fun!
