Julia | Blacksburg High School Senior Photographer

Julia describes herself as “silly, athletic, and funny.” I think asking her to use only three words was a little limiting! Julia is so much more than three words can sum up! She is also fun, intelligent, compassionate, and kind. Actually, six words aren’t even enough! I could go on for a while talking about all of the awesome things that Julia is!

As you have heard me say many times now, I LOVE LOVE LOVE having a senior session with a former student. I was so excited to book Julia’s session because, as a student, she was an absolute favorite. Julia was so much fun to have in the classroom. Julia had the best sense of humor and made our 7th grade advanced math class so much fun! Julia would also sing… a lot! She sang so much that she earned the nickname “Song Bird” for the life! I still tease her about that! I may have teased her, but she knows it’s because I loved it!

Extra Curricular Activities:

Julia is very involved in extra curricular activities at Blacksburg High School, where she is a senior. She is a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), DECA, and many clubs such as Interact and Random Acts of Kindness. She is also an athlete and loves running. Julia has been on the Bruins Cross Country and Track teams for all of her high school career!

Math and Science are Julia’s favorite subjects in high school (I told you this kid is awesome). She hasn’t made any decisions about college yet, but she has some she is considering. Her top two choices at this point would be James Madison University (JMU), Christopher Newport, or Virginia Tech (VT). She is considering a major in business or something along those lines.

When Julia isn’t doing some related to school, she enjoys listening to lots of different styles of music. Her favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy and The Vampire Diaries. She also loves the movies White Chicks, Mean Girls, and a classic, The Notebook.
