What an awesome day for an awesome wedding!
Maria and Zac were married on a beautiful day at Doe Creek Farm in Pembroke, Virginia. This is such a gorgeous location for a wedding, especially in the fall. They have beautiful apple orchards right next to the main house and reception area. The ceremony overlooked them! How perfect! They were in full picking prime too!
The first time I met Maria and Zac in person was for their rainy day engagement session. These two were so much fun that the rain couldn’t stop them! The Preparations
When I arrived Maria and the girls were all finished with their hair and makeup. They each looked radiant! Studio 700 Salon did their hair and makeup and it was perfect! Maria’s classic dress was designed by Mikaella by Paloma Blanca Boutique and she found it at Maggi Bridal of Raleigh, NC. It was the most perfect dress for such a perfect bride!
The Ceremony
The ceremony followed and was officiated by their aunt who was so proud to be a part of such a perfect couple’s day. The moment when Zac saw Maria coming with her dad and brother escorting her was priceless. The love this couple has for each other and the love for them by their family and friends was overwhelming. Perfection is what this moment was.
The Reception
After the ceremony the reception began as the couple were introduced by their DJ, Rick Pruett, out of Narrows, Virginia. He kept the party hopping all night! Dinner was provided by Mikie with The Element Catering. Let me tell you, her food is FABULOUS. If you ever get the chance, she’s the caterer for you!! Mmmm!!! The cake was made by Cathy Link Copper Hill Cakes and Goodies. Those treats went fast too! They were not only beautiful but delicious as well!
I cannot end this post without crediting Brittany with Doe Creek Farm for helping to make this entire day run so smoothly! She runs a well oiled machine! The entire wedding went off without a hitch! Yay! I would also like to credit my always talented and super fun second shooter, Sam Pack of Sam Pack Photography!
