Tawny + Joey + Charlie | Blacksburg Family Photographer

I adore this family!

I first had the pleasure of working with Joey and Tawny for their wedding a few years ago. (See that post here) It was so much fun to be a part of their awesome day! Now I get to photograph their sweet family again and it was the highlight of my summer!

Family

“Crazy, fun, and loving” are the words Tawny uses to describe her family. They are also “awesome.” And little Charlie… oh my… my heart melts for this little lady!

As a family they love to play on the trampoline, walk their dogs, read lots and lots of books, and pay together and with their extended family. They also love to go to baseball games, be outside, go to the park, church, and go on adventures!

Hahn Gardens

Joey and Tawny chose Hahn Gardens on Virginia Tech’s campus for their family session because we had done their “first look” here on their wedding day! They fell in love with the spot and knew that it would be perfect for their family session!

About Joey…

Tawny described Joey to me as the “rock of the family. He is the calming force and he keeps Charlie and me on level ground. Joey is a protector who has the biggest heart. He does whatever is necessary to make Charlie happy. He is the best dad!”

About Charlie…

Charlie (3 years old and full of awesomeness), according to Tawny, “is a wild one who always is full of conversation and imagination. She is full of love and sass and she keeps us on our toes! We love watching her grow up and seeing her personality come out.” I absolutely enjoyed every minute with Charlie. She was so much fun!

About Tawny…

Tawny, according to Joey, is “the glue that holds the family together. The love that she has for Charlie and me is proven by her selflessness and dedication. She has a grace that is beautiful but she is tough as steel. She is compassionate and has a drive to serve her community.”

Now that you have read this post and seen some photos, can’t you just understand why this bunch is one of my favorite clients ever?? No doubt!
