Amber and Jason are getting married!
What a beautiful evening it was for Amber and Jason’s engagement session! We met at the amazing Hahn Gardens on Virginia Tech’s campus. The plants were all just beginning to bloom. Spring in Blacksburg is so beautiful!
The meeting…
Amber and Jason’s love story first began when they met while Amber was teaching a class about the arts in Blacksburg. She needed a guest instructor to give a lecture about jazz. Someone recommended Jason to Amber. Jason taught a great lesson about jazz for her students. Amber went on to tell me that Jason “kept the conversation going with an invitation to hang out with a ‘young professionals group’ in the music department (which turned out to just be his friends).” After many e-mails and Facebook messages, they wound up at a concert together, talking in the lobby long after everyone else had left. Jason asked Amber out for a drink at the Cellar, and that was their first date!
Together time…
Jason and Amber share a lot of interests. They love playing with their dog, traveling, going to concerts, visiting restaurants and breweries, cooking, working in their vegetable garden, making their own hot sauce, having bonfires in their yard, watching their favorite TV shows, and much more! I told you they enjoyed one another! How perfect!
