Haley and Hunter are engaged!!
I recently met Haley and Hunter for their engagement session at Haley’s parents vacation home on Smith Mountain Lake. What a gorgeous day and this spot was simply amazing!
We walked around the lake off of their property and some neighboring spots for their session. It was great to get to know Haley and Hunter during our walk. They are the sweetest!
Hunter and Haley first met when they were both working at Deloitte. This was both of their first job out of college and they met at a happy hour. They started talking at the event and decided to leave to grab some food and really hit it off! They tried to keep their relationship a secret from coworkers, but apparently everyone already knew. Turns out they are terrible at being discreet. Ha!
Hunter asked Haley to marry him at the same spot we did their session, her family lake house! It was during sunset on the dock. Haley said she wasn’t surprised at all but it was still perfect. We reenacted it for a photo!
Haley and Hunter enjoy doing outdoor activities together like wakeboarding, snowboarding/skiing, hiking, and running with their dog. They also love to cook and watch movies together and spending time with their friends and family.
Now that they are engaged they have so many things that they are looking forward to in their future. They, however, are most excited about planning their wedding and their dream honeymoon!
I asked Haley to describe Hunter to me. This is what she shared: “I think Hunter is the most awesome for always being encouraging and supportive of my goals and making sure I am always happy.”
Hunter also told me about Haley. He shared, “Haley is so smart, beautiful, and driven. I love the way she cooks and she is a fantastic dog mom.”
