Kathryn + Collins | Keswick | Charlottesville Wedding Photographer

Kathryn and Collins are married!!

I was so excited for this wedding! I first met Kathryn when we did her bridal and then Collins when I did their engagement session. You can see them both here: Kathryn’s Bridal: https://blog.skyryderphotography.com/kathryn-blacksburg-bridal-photographer-virginia-tech/ and Kathryn & Collins Engagement Session: https://blog.skyryderphotography.com/kathryn-collins-virginia-tech-engagement-photographer/

I absolutely love Keswich, Virginia. It is on the outskirts of Charlottesville and has the most beautiful farm country. Kathryn and Collins selected Limestone Springs Farm for their wedding because Collins worked his land before moving to Maine. It has a special place in their hearts. Not mention how gorgeous it is!

When I arrived the girls were finished up their hair and makeup. Collins and the guys were ready to go! Since there was some threatening weather in the forecast, Kathryn and Collins wanted to do their photos right away to ensure they were able to capture the images they had wanted from their special day.

We walked around Limestone Springs Farm and captured so many amazing photographs of this amazing pair. What a perfect couple they are!

The ceremony was held on the property and was absolute perfection. They said their vows in front of their family and friends and the moment was topped off by a canon being fired off! I knew it was coming but it still startled me! Ha!

The reception was set up in a tent on the farm. The tables were beautifully set and the couple had a delicious barbecue dinner for their guests. I loved the favors! They were southern grits because Kathryn said “she’s a southern girl!”

The reception was wonderful despite that just as everyone was getting settled in the tent the rains hit, and they hit hard. Luckily everyone was under the tent and the guys were able to put up the sides to protect everyone from the showers. Once that was settled the night got back into action! Dancing, singing, toasts, and fun! So many great family and friends that were clearly happy to share in Kathryn and Collins joy. What a wonderful night it was!

A quick shout out to the vendors that made this day the perfection it was!
