Can I just tell you how ADORABLE these two are??!!!
I had the best time with Lauren and Mason for their engagement session! We met on the Blue Ridge Parkway right outside of Floyd, Virginia. This is seriously one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Lauren and Mason were made for each other! Seriously! There isn’t a more perfect pair! I asked the story of how they met and they shared, “Our families met at church. Mason became close friends with Lauren’s brother Luke, who is the best man. We were friends for about two years before we were interested in dating, and we’ve been together ever since (nine years)!” Wow!
There are many things Mason and Lauren enjoy doing together. Their favorites are to go to drive-in movies, hike with their dogs, drive on the Parkway, and go to wineries.
You are going to love the story of how Mason asked Lauren to marry him! Mason told me, “I brought Lauren to the Blue Ridge Parkway where I had a tent set up with pictures of us, string lights, and a picnic with our favorite foods. My brother, Chase, took pictures, hid with my dog, Cooper, and put the ring on his collar with a bandana that read, “Will you marry my dad?”. I called Cooper out of the woods, got down on one knee, and asked Lauren to marry me.” See!!! I told you! A dream proposal!
Now that they are engaged, they are most excited to to be together each day! They are also looking forward to more weekend road trips, starting a family, and going through all of the different life stages together.
I asked Lauren and Mason to describe one another. Here is their sweet responses:
Mason: “My favorite thing about Lauren is that she likes to go find new places to eat and things to do as much as I do. We’ll start off a weekend free of plans and end up making some of the best memories, finding some of the best unknown restaurants and the nicest places to sit and relax.”
Lauren: “I love that Mason always makes me laugh, no matter if I’m in a bad mood or have had a bad day. He has the goofiest personality, and I love that he is genuine and completely comfortable being himself with me.”
Now, isn’t that the kind of love we all aspire to have? How perfect are these two??!!
